The Trust have published a history book on the Ipswich to Stowmarket Navigation. Nearly all of the 500 print run have been sold. It can be purchased now at a cost of £10.00

The book explains the history of the Navigation and the involvement of the leading engineer, John Rennie. Includes chapters on the locks, mills, barges, bridges, industry and more. A few pages shown below. Available from The Food Museum at Stowmarket, The Post Office at Needham Market and Dial Lane Books in Ipswich at £10.
